Functional Overview of the Application
<ul>
 <li class="review">DR Functions: The application allows you to use the transceiver's DR functions.</li>
 <li class="review">Share Pictures: You can send and receive voice and pictures.</li>
 <li class="review">Map: Utilize the map feature to view the location of repeater sites or other stations. This can be done by using received position data or tapping on a repeater site or station on the map to automatically set the transceiver's "FROM" and "TO" fields.</li>
 <li class="review">Receive History: In DV mode, read and edit received station information. You can also download additional information from an Internet database.</li>
 <li class="review">Text Messaging: Send and receive text messages.</li>
 <li class="review">Call Sign List: Edit call signs and names used in the DR function, as well as add new entries to the list.</li>
 <li class="review">Repeater List: Access detailed data entered in the Repeater list.</li>
 <li class="review">Transceiver Settings: Change certain function settings of the transceiver.</li>
 <li class="review">Application Settings: Adjust application software settings.</li>
 <li class="review">Import/Export: Import or export Repeater lists, Call Sign lists, or Receive History.</li>

*2 Supported in RS-MS1I Ver.1.2.0 or later.
Preparation:
To use the RS-MS1I with a supported transceiver, you will need to have an optional Bluetooth unit. Please refer to your transceiver's instruction manual for more information.
Transceiver's Settings:

 <li class="review">Set the [Function] > [CI-V] > [CI-V Transceive] to ON.</li>
 <li class="review">Set the [Bluetooth Set] > [Data Device Set] > [Serial Port Function] to CI-V (Echo back OFF).</li>
</ul>
Note:
<ul>
 <li class="review">The RS-MS1I may not be compatible with all iPhones or iPads, even if they are tested devices, due to conflicts with other applications on your device.</li>
 <li class="review">Compatibility with the RS-MS1I may vary depending on the operating system version and installed applications of your device.</li>
 <li class="review">There might be a slight delay between the transceiver's operation and the display on the iPhone or iPad due to the use of Bluetooth LE for the connection.</li>
 <li class="review">When using "FAST mode" to send or receive pictures, the headset audio may be temporarily interrupted due to limitations of the transceiver's Bluetooth unit.</li>
 <li class="review">Some functions may require an Internet connection through a Wireless LAN, 3G network, or LTE network.</li>
 <li class="review">The RS-MS1I only supports portrait orientation with the iPhone and does not support Auto Rotate. However, landscape orientation and Auto Rotate are supported with the iPad.</li>
